About Our Sky Lights
A rooflight brings in significantly more daylight than a wall window of the same area, because it faces open sky rather than a fence, a neighbouring wall or a hedge. On a single-storey extension or a side return it is often the difference between a room that works and one nobody uses.
We survey the opening, design the unit around your roof structure and install it properly sealed and flashed. Every rooflight is made to measure, thermally broken and fitted by our own team — the same people who do the windows and doors.

A pitched, multi-faceted glazed roof that sits proud of a flat roof and throws light deep into the room below. The most architectural of the three, and the one that turns an ordinary extension into a feature.
A single flush pane set into the roof line, with almost no visible frame from inside. The quietest option architecturally, and the right one where you want light without the unit announcing itself.
Set into a sloping tiled or slate roof, these bring daylight into loft conversions and upper floors where there is no wall to put a window in. Available fixed, top hung or as an escape unit.

A rooflight is one of the highest-impact changes you can make to a ground floor extension or a loft. Here is what it actually does.
A roof opening faces open sky rather than a fence or a neighbouring wall, so it delivers substantially more usable daylight than a wall window of the same size.
Deep-plan kitchens and side returns often have one external wall and a dark middle. A rooflight is usually the only way to fix that.
Because the glazing is overhead, you keep every wall for units, shelving or artwork. Nothing has to be planned around a window.
Overhead glazing gives light without a view in from neighbours, which matters on tight urban plots.
