Composite Doors

A 44mm insulated slab with a glass-reinforced skin — the default recommendation for a front door.

Composite

Composite Doors

The slab is built up from a solid timber or foam core wrapped in a glass-reinforced plastic skin, which is what gives a composite door its impact resistance and its stability. It will not warp with the seasons and does not need repainting.

Style, colour, glazing and furniture are all specified separately, so two doors from the same range rarely look alike. Secured by Design specification is available on request.

The Detail

Why our composite doors work

  • Very secure

The reinforced skin resists impact far better than a hollow panel door.

  • Warm

A solid insulated core makes a measurable difference in a draughty hallway.

  • Stays put

No warping, no swelling and no annual repaint.
